Idlewood Grilled Shrimp

Delightful, light shrimp with a tropical spin. I came up with this one while staying with my sister Michele at her home on Idlewood Drive


  • 20 large or extra-large shrimp, shell on
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp pepper salt to taste


In a small bowl, combine oil, juice and seasonings. Fold shrimp into the seasoning mixture and place all in a zip-lock bag. Seal bag, removing as much air as possible. Marinate in refrigerator for 15-30 minutes. Skewer shrimp and place on medium high grill, about 3 minutes on each side. Enjoy!
